Archives:
We work in association with the highly regarded Mary Evans Picture Library and this enables us to offer an accredited archive of WW2 Home Front images which depict many aspects of life in Britain during that era.
Additionally, our own archives, held by Mary Evans Picture Library, include the largest private collection of photographs taken by a member of the Corps of Canadian Firefighters in England from mid war to 1945. These depict the work of the Corps on the Home Front with fascinating images including wartime London, Plymouth and Southampton.
We also hold a small, but interesting archive of living history images courtesy of photographers Nick Halling, John Morgans, Andrew Wilkinson and Jenny Hutchinson. Use of these images is by arrangement with the copyright owners and we are happy to put you in touch with them.
Our archive material is available for Charities, Schools, Authors, Writers, the Media, Researchers, Educationalists and Historians and Living History Groups subject to Terms and Conditions. Enquiries from private individuals are welcome.
